4th of July Bike Parade

This year a neighborhood tradition returned after a one-year break - the 4th of July Bike Parade.  The girls thought it was awesome!  We have an amazingly huge number of kids in the neighborhood, and by the time they all invited friends, quite the crew took off to race up and down the block a number of times before enjoying cookies, fresh fruit, and lemonade.  As for the parents, we enjoyed time to chat and joke about how biking is "so hard" when it's just us and the girls alone, but how when you involve friends and other big kids, it must become so much easier because there's no complaining at all!
